A New Series of Drawings This Week

I am working on a new series of drawings where I'm using India Ink, Foamcore and cardboard to make the marks. It is a process I have used in the past - I like the dark, messy mark it all makes, and in a series like this, it is just easier and faster. I am debating whether to work through every possible arrangement in this scenario, but as I generate them I acknowledge that I'm drawn to the more complicated ones, and like the ones that read more like potential architecture. At one point the old TV game show 'Hollywood Squares' came to mind. Perhaps daytime television affected my architectural taste more than I like to admit. But I also think of box kites and bamboo scaffolding.

'Small' Drawings

I had a request today for photos of some of the smaller drawings I had on-hand. I've been rushed all day and I rushed on these photos, but at least I included a yardstick (48 inches) in the photos to give them some scale. I told my client, once they narrow down the parameters I will send better photos with sizes and media.
