Sketchbook Collages

I find myself saving interesting scraps from my larger cardboard pieces. So naturally I began making a few random collages in my sketchbook out of these pieces. This month I've dedicated a new larger sketchbook to the collages and below is a sequence, in chronological order, of some of the resultant pieces. They started as one thing, pictured in the first image - strata like an somewhat orderly. But they quickly evolved to a more random arrangement, and lately all with a touch of red (thank you Captain Crunch). I still think of architecture - they could be facades or even floor plans, but I attempt to work quickly and not over think them.
