I'm working on a series of cardboard flags, this is the third in what I hope will be at least six. The paper size is 28 x 40 inches and the materials include recycled cardboard, (mostly cereal boxes), India Ink and Arches watercolor paper. Below is a photo of the boxes as they dry after a wash of India Ink to give you and idea of the process. They still need to be trimmed and sorted. I'm attempting to narrow the tonal range in the flags but it is often difficult to discern the differences in cardboard color, both raw and washed with ink.
