I have been playing with the overlapping grid idea in color. These drawings begin in color theory and the optical nature of color, and move into my memories of posters from the 1960's (Hello blacklight). When looking at the drawing in person the colors move, and in the center of the drawings, where the grid is most dense, there is a dulling of the color in the eye. The intense color makes them difficult to present in a photograph but the idea is there.
