New Drawing

The slightly warmer weather has allowed me to work outside for a few days where I stain Arches watercolor paper in preparation to work on top of  it. Using acrylic paint pens I then make a drawing that is directly derived from my experiences in architectural school. I think of them as abstracted or minimized architectural drawings. This drawing struck a nice balance between chaos and order - the 'building' is a graphic representation of the first thirteen integers cubed.

Drawings - Old and New

A few quick photos of drawings, two old, two new, and one a rework of an old idea. Shot on my drawing table as I was organizing this morning. All made on the same Arches watercolor paper size 40 x 26 inches.
